Two home alarm salesmen working for Stryker Security Sales violently attacked and robbed two men from opposing companies in Cheney, WA, police reported.
The two alleged “security professionals,” Kyle C. French, 18, and Ignatius Tepp, 19 are door-to-door salesmen for home security company Stryker Security Sales. The two salesmen Todd Jensen and James Stoker (who are also door-to-door salesmen), who are employed by Vivint Security Sales, informed police they were brutally assaulted because they were peddling their products in Stryker Security’s “sales turf.”
A Vivint saleswoman Miranda Hayes said the Stryker Security salesmen demanded that the Vivint salesmen keep out of their territory.
This sounds like a scene out of the movie “Warriors,” with salesmen battling over rival gang territory.
According to a police report, French said “the Vivint reps were stealing their sales so they confronted one of them to tell them to stop.” Allegedly French and Tepp stole paperwork, an iPad, and for some reason, an ID badge.
“Kyle said he took the property as trophies,” according to court documents. Luckily for Jensen and Stoker all of the “trophies” have been recovered except for the iPad, because French said he feared the iPad could be tracked, so he threw it in Medical Lake in hopes that he wouldn’t be sniffed out by the police. Unfortunately for him, he still got caught!
About a month ago, French pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge which landed him a $10,000 bond, and a $5,000 bond for Tepp. Both suspects are still in custody. Court officials were reported to say that French in all likelihood would not show up for court date if he was ever released, which is one of the reasons the judge ordered a $10,000 bond.

It should be added that they
It should be added that they were released with no charges pressed. Evidentially the artical was written with false information in a local paper first. The discrepancies between the alleged victim and the alleged attacker revealed the attacker was struck first and was defending himself. It makes a good story but this artical was written one sided and contains very little if any truth.
