Living Off-campus in Ann Arbor Just Got Safer: SimpliSafe Partners with CMI

Simplisafe Inc. is proud to announce our latest partnership. We have partnered with Campus Management Inc. (CMI) to offer our wireless security systems to students and faculty living off the University of Michigan’s Campus. As the leading provider of off-campus housing to the University of Michigan community, CMI has decided to offer SimpliSafe’s apartment security systems to their tenants. While the recession continues to take its toll, security is an increasing concern. CMI decided to take a proactive approach to student and faculty security, offering students, their parents and faculty peace of mind.

While campus security can do a lot to protect students from outsiders, students lacking on-campus housing or who choose to live off-campus face much greater risks. At 18-19 years old, students are just embarking on life outside of their parents’ home, which makes them easy targets for expert criminals.

We are excited that parents, faculty and students will learn about SimpliSafe as they make their housing decisions for next year. We feel especially good keeping students safe and providing peace of mind to parents, whose kids are far away.
