Quick Tip: Customize your SimpliSafe with Colors!

A tip for all of you DIY fanatics:

You can use spray enamel for plastics to color your SimpliSafe system; the components have been designed to take paint very well and can be customized to blend in with wooden door-frames or colorful walls. Just remember, don't spray over the serial numbers or the face of the motion sensor!

Here's what Lloyd from Florida had to say:

'I painted my motion and entry sensors to closely match walls and wood trim. I just used spray can enamel for plastic available at home improvement stores. Easy and fast, they take paint well. I used blue painters tape to protect motion faces and all serial number stickers, so I wouldn't lose the serial numbers. Works and looks great! Makes the motions and entry sensors disappear'
