Thx for your help on the phone with setting up my SimpliSafe alarm system. Unfortunately, the alarm system had to prove itself last Saturday night.
I was in Lebanon Tennessee when I got a phone call at 12am from SimpliSafe's dispatch saying that my alarm went off.
I told the dispatcher I was not at home and to please call the police. Everything that an intruder can steal or vandalize began to go through my mind, and I decided to call the police myself. Police dispatch answered and said that my alarm company was already on the phone.and to call back in a few minutes. The police said that my bedroom window was open and the officer had called for backup. When the other officers arrived, the Police went through my house and noted that no damage had been done, then closed the window locked the door and left. When I made it to my home in Texas I did not know what to expect as far as what had been stolen and was glad to see that everything was as I had left it with nothing being stolen, or vandalized. I guess the burglars ran as soon as the alarm went off.
My only regret is that I did not buy this alarm system before I had been victimized the first time with 650 dollars worth of items being stolen from my house. I paid 299 dollars for the system and SimpliSafe paid for itself. At least now I can leave my house with peace of mind. SS dispatch was very quick and the police arrived in seconds.
I highly recommend this system to anyone looking to keep their home secure at an affordable price.
