Alarm went off but no emergency dispatch

Got home at 2:50am tried to turn alarm off using my key fob. It didn't work so before i could enter the pin the alarm goes off, i finally put the PIN on the keypad. Unfortunately, to my surprise not a single call from dispatch.
This has me really bothered now as to what happened? and my fears are now back! what if it was a real emergency? I really need an explanation as to what happened and why there was no call from dispatch despite the fact it recorded an entry alarm on the log.
