How long does it take to activate dispatch service?

I registered for dipatch service about 9 hours ago, however, I still get the message of no connection to the dispatch center. I've tried placing the base all around the apartment and by several windows, but still no connection to dispatch and my test runs don't show up in my account. Could this be simply because it may take a day or two for my registration to go through, or is something wrong with my wireless connection?

Normally the activation of

Normally the activation of your cellular module, which provides your wireless connection to the dispatch service, happens within a few minutes of you activating your account. In your case, it appears that the wireless carrier was delayed in activating your service due to the holiday weekend, but your service is active now and we can see that there is a good wireless connection to your system.

We pushed through your

We pushed through your activation and it looks like you're now connected. When you have a chance, you can try sending a test signal:

1) Press Menu on your Keypad
2) When prompted, enter your PIN to enter the menu system
3) Scroll right to option 5 by pressing the Home key
4) Select option 5 by pressing the Away key
5) You do not need to test your sensors at this time, unless you would like to. You may exit the menu by pressing Menu/cancel at any time

I am having a similar problem, the website says the monitoring will go out of practice mode on the 25th. When I logged into the web site this morning it still said that it was in practice mode. I have already conducted the test and everything checked out. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help facilitate this matter.

You're all set. Your online account is showing that it is still in "practice mode" because we do a manual review of all accounts to ensure accuracy before officially switching them into "live mode" and starting the billing cycle. Due to the holiday there is a bit of a backlog for this review. But all accounts become live with the dispatch center automatically 72 hours after they are activated. If you do another test (Keypad menu option 5), you'll get a courtesy call from the dispatch center.

Thanks for posting to let us know. It looks like the SIM card activation hasn't gone through with the carrier yet, so I've resubmitted the activation. We should get the system able to send signals by the end of the day today.

I installed my system

I installed my system yesterday, and everything seems to be working ok. My tests show up on my online account, but I haven't received any calls from the monitoring system. Am I supposed to be getting a call during the 3 day test period? Thanks!

I just activated my account

I just activated my account and I am getting no link to dispatcher. The base station also does not have a blue light in test mode indicating a connection anywhere in the house. Will there be a signal light if my module has yet to be activated or should there be a blue light in test mode indicating signal strength. Before I activated my emergency dispatch, there was a blue light in test mode. Now there is not and I have no link. Please help.

Thanks for posting! To clear the 'No Link to Dispatcher' message, you just need to send a test signal, by putting your system into Test Mode, option 5 in the keypad menu! If you have trouble with this, give our customer service line a call and I'm sure we can resolve your issue!

Thanks for posting! The system usually takes about 30 minutes to fully connect once you submit the activation. However, it looks like you have gotten signals out and should be all set! System is all connected. Everything looks ok on this end. System is showing a solid blue light in test mode, and is also connected to a land line. In test mode the system dials out. Online shows no test signal has been received.

Just a little reminder to take a good look at your serial #'s on the system. I was having problems activating mine and the "D" looked very similar to a "0" or "O". Created a little confusion on mine and the tech's part trying to figure out what it wouldn't register.

I just activated my

I just activated my monitoring and I can see an event log recording everything I do with the system however, when I called the monitoring station to check on my account they didn't have any information for my account. When does the monitoring station get the information to activate the account? Thank you.

I just spoke with the monitoring station and I'm in their system. I have to wait the 72 hours for "practice" and then the monitoring goes live.

I have not been able to get a

I have not been able to get a signal to link to dispatch from my base unit.
I have already worked through a tech with the issues including resetting the base unit multiple times and checking to make sure wires inside the base sation were not loose.
Is there a way to flash the firmware of the base station in case it has a software fault?
If so pease advise I would really like to have this system live monitoring.

Thanks for posting! It looks as though you fall with an area with no coverage for the provider we use. We have received signals over your phone line which may be the best way for you to connect in that area.
