Not getting a connection to dispatch.

I registered the system a week ago and it still isn't connecting to dispatch. I moved the system around, put it in test mode, tried everything. I even plugged in the USB and went through that installation process. However, when I got the part where I input my serial number, it told me it wasn't valid. Why would that be? It's the same number written on the bottom of my base station. The previous owners of this house used the exact same system, and I can see that it worked because it shows me the tests going through on my account page.
I have no clue what to do now. Can anyone help?

Thanks for posting! Your connection looks good, all you'll need to do is send a test signal using menu option 5 to get rid of that error.

The problem I posted below is no more. I looked at the keypad and it no longer says that it's not connected to dispatch. So I assume that it is connected now. Hopefully that assumption is correct. I don't know why it started working, it certainly wasn't anything I did.
I received my system yesterday and connected everything as instructed. I tried to send a test signal using menu option 5 several times. It continues to say no link to dispatch. I have a two story house. I have a wireless router upstairs that I use for my laptop. I put the system base unit downstairs in my laundry room next to a window. I tried moving the system around and still no connection. I read on another blog that said a router can interfer, I will not get rid of my router. At this point I am starting to regret having purchased the system. Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting! In looking over the account it seems your Base Station serial number was incorrectly listed with an "I" rather than a "1." I've gone ahead and fixed that for you so you should be able to send your test signal now!

Having the no link to dispatcher problem. Moving around and also plugged into a land line (att uverse). Was working fine. We did get a new router for internet when our uverse modem quit working.

We also are getting the "no link to dispatcher" message. Also, the panic button was not responding when we had it in our bedroom. We placed it next to the base unit for a day or two and it finally recognized it. Have not relocated it to the bedroom again to see if is working.

I have the same issue as
I have the same issue as others, have tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps and have not been able to connect to dispatch. In test mode the light on the station is bright and from what I understand this signifies we have good signal. I suspect we have a carrier activation issue... Can anyone help in off hours?
