for those having problems with not connecting to dispatch

To everyone new here.
You must call cusomer support in order to resolve this issue.i set up alarm easily and everything was good to go in working order except signal to dispatch. we panicked and found these forums.then panicked some more not finding any resolve to all those having my signal to dispatch issue. I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAD SUCCESSFULLY RESOLVED my ISSUE. Yes it sucked it was friday after hours before i could install everything so I had to get through the weekend and my 3 day practice period on my own. however After sending off an email. I did get a response monday am via email telling us to call in.We did and support was excellent and helpful. it took 1 more business day to get another base station sent out to us. Reconnected new base station....logged back in and signal to dispatch was a success. Apparently there was something wrong with the chip in first base station noticed after tech support did a fewsimple tests. I expected the usual pc support runaround so i had my wife call in while i listened. I was surprised within minutes she had a solution and new parts were on the way. I must admit i still was not sure this would work so i withheld any comment until parts arrived next day and it actually worked for myself to see. I hope this info finds others helpful as i could have used this info to not give up hope and start to wonder if I needed to throw in the towel on this system and simplisafe. thuimbs up guys at simpli safe and support. so far everything as promised and will recommend to others. its been a few weeks and we have had no false alarms or any issues to date.

Cellular Connection Problem

Cellular Connection Problem Solved.
I had the problem of the Simplisafe Base Station not connecting to the Dispatch Center by the Cellular Connection after activation.
Simply remove the Power Cord and the Batteries then Replace the Batteries and then the Power Cord.
After the Base Station powered back up the Cellular Connection to Dispatch Center was immediate.

Hope this helps...

What the hell was I thinking!

What the hell was I thinking! Purchased Simplisafe system a month ago and continue to have nothing but issues and can someone please tell me how a home security company only operate during bankers hours? One suggestion for the marketing team at SS, post the office hours on the yard sign received free w/ purchase of a system...that way the intruders will be able to estimate a break-in after hours. Perfect! The ease of installation and the wireless aspect of the system was attractive at first however I should have done more research. Major concern is "no link to dispatch" issues; it worked for the first week but then this wireless system became a glorified siren system. When calling support for help they tell you to be home in order to walk you through troubleshooting, makes sense. For working individuals that's difficult! If you follow the "very helpful"??? on-line step by step instructions moving the base station to a number of locations is nothing short of rocket science! Terrible customer no-service! I can only hope the refund department of First National Bank of Simpli-not safe will figure out how to credit my credit card! If you are looking for a SECURE home security system make sure the company has 24 hour support available as part of the service. This company must be a handful of minimum wage kids housed in a basement in Iowa able to read from a script book! One positive note, the cat loves the flashing blue light on the base station that indicates THERE IS NO CONNECTION TO DISPATCH!
