Delayed delivery

I placed order for custom system on dec17 (order no. 40854) and further ammended order on dec21. From day one it was told to me that the item is back ordered and expected date of shipping is dec 27. Which is fair. On dec21 status changed as information sent to FedEx for pickup and this status remained same till dec 27. Although, I understand holiday season as well as back order. How come FedEx forget to pickup? Or is that the pack is not yet ready at all? Not clear what is wrong? I can speak to customer care but 9-6 EST is another issue. Appreciate call back or status update.

I do see change in the status

I do see change in the status today in the Fedex tracking that the shipment is in hands of Fedex at Wilmington MA and should be in my hand soon. Thanks
