Waiting for the new hardware

I have been doing some reading and studying on your service and am really excited to get started. After reading about the new hardware you plan on rolling out, I have decided to wait. My question is... How much longer do I need to wait. I am very interested in the options it will offer, and find it pointless to purchase the current hardware you offer.

Thanks for posting! The new hardware is still under development (we were hoping for it to be ready this month!) and it's likely still a couple months away from ready.

Will every component be refreshed to a newer release or you're just adding new components (with the exception of the base station)?
Is there a benefit of waiting for the new component or should I just order it now?
I understand that I can upgrade the base station and pay for the difference.
Will the motion sensor and door sensor going to be refreshed too?

The update coming will not require that you refresh all sensors; the new Base Station will be backwards compatible with the Entry and Motion Sensors you already have. There won't be a real benefit from waiting, other than the fact that you won't need to swap Base Stations when it is released.

So, are you saying that you will replace the base station with the new release once it is available (at no charge of course)? Otherwise, I would rather wait and get all the new advatages the FIRST time around.

When the new base is released, you may upgrade to the new base by just paying the difference in price. Waiting to purchase would require payment for the entire price of the new base station which will be about $100.
