keychain remote security

How secure is the keychain remote? Can someone capture the signal it sends out to the base station and replicate it, or does it use rolling codes?

Thanks for posting! SimpliSafe has taken precautionary measures with encrypted signals to prevent these types of events from occurring. However, if the 'Mission Impossible' team is trying to gain access to your home with advanced technologies, there is no guarantee that our security measures will stop them. Although, if you are subscribed to the Smart Alerts and someone is able to turn your system off, your system would register an 'Alarm OFF' signal and you would be notified that someone had just used a keychain remote to deactivate your system!
