Remove the "no link to dispatch" message

So I have a system at my house that is monitored, I would like to install a system at my business that would not be monitored. Is there a way to remove the "no link to dispatch" message? Will everyone who can see the key pad know that the system is not monitored. If I have no intention of having the system monitored will it always blink "no link to dispatch"?
