Testing panic button during test mode

If I push the panic button on the keypad/keychain/separate panic button during test mode will the alarm go off and notify police? It shouldn't right? Thanks.

The panic button on the system during test mode will not trigger the siren, unless you have them set to silent. Do not test a panic button that is set to silent as it will send a duress signal for immediate police dispatch.

Thanks for the info. Luckily, I had not activated my system. I thought my panic button was broke!
