Great system!!!

I lived in a large house and had ADT for 8 years. My family and I recently relocated out of state and are now in a townhouse for the time being. I did my homework and searched high and low for a good alarm system and my sister in law had recently purchased Simplisafe. I am a huge techy and went to her place to see it and kept looking for a flaw but could never find one! I recently purchased the system for our place and it is an awesome system! I no longer have a home phone (who needs one anymore with cell phones!!) plus we use magicjack. I wasn't sure how it would transmit wirelessly but bam it works like a charm! I have been testing the heck out of it and it works great! I love how I can see all of my alarm events online. I am looking forward to the additional siren. The louder the better to scare off anyone!! I wanted to post this to anyone that was considering this fabulous system. Take it from someone who has had the more expensive services (ADT) and who has done their homework. You will not find a better alarm system or monitoring, especially for the price! ADT was $40 a month and now it's $14.99! You can't beat that. Great job Simplisafe, I look forward to a long relationship with you guys!!

I have had my system

I have had my system installed for a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier it works, it is simple, and it affords me peace of mind. I contacted support for a program change and received excellent prompt service. So far it is just what I needed couldn't be happier. :)

I have had my system a week

I have had my system a week and love it. Installation was simple and the support for the questions I had is amazing. This company rocks! Looking forward to the 2nd keypad as I have a large house and would like to disable the alarm at the garage door. Thanks!

Have had an alarm system,

Have had an alarm system, from an excellent local company ( APB Staten Island, NY) for 25+ years.

Downsized my home to condos in NJ & FL. Community in NJ comes with alarm & monitoring (Protection One).

Both companies are A+ in my book.

However, Florida property is much smaller and I decided to investigate do-it-yourself installations.

Boy! Am I ever pleased!!!

SimpliSafe, both the alarm system and the company, is a pleasure to deal with.

Two months of investigation & I decided to go SimpliSafe!

One hour to install & works perfectly.

Cannot say too many good things about SimpliSafe! !

Just got my system... and got

Just got my system... and got it up and running after testing....thoroughly satisified so far.....it has a few quirks but it's just my way of mounting sensors and no big deal for most people....installation went fast...programming was a little confusing but after playing for a few minutes and rereading and understanding what I read...it all came together fine..

I think so far, for the money paid, not a bad deal....we're not going to use the outside monitoring aspect, we're home all the time and just wanted to be alerted for any intrusion, and I'll take care of the situations....

Like I said, just got it up and right now, the only issue I see is when set, away mode, and you've gone to bed....when a sensor is tripped, the alarm doesn't sound until 30 seconds pass (time to allow someone to disarm via their pin) I haven't seen an option to change this, would rather have a away bed mode that once set...any intrusion would send the alarm of in 5 seconds....not sure if I want someone roaming around for 30 seconds when I'm asleep...Still looking into changing these times as of now...but overall....very capable, well built system....we'll see how the up grades go soon....I was going to wait but they stated that previous owners will have first option on the up graded unit before the public...only time will tell.

Thanks for posting! You can adjust the Entry Delay Time for both HOME and AWAY modes using your keychain remote USB on your computer! From the main menu, click Adjust Settings, then Advanced Settings.

Customer service has been

Customer service has been excellent. I had a bad sensor and they quickly responded with a new one and the enclosed instructions made it easy to program. Had the system for a couple of weeks and very impressed with the system and the service.

Our parents past away, my

Our parents past away, my sister & I put their house on the market. Within a few weeks, it was broken in to and all the copper pipes ripped out. We got the SimpliSafe system and it has been working perfectly since. This morning at 6:45 AM, my phone rang. It as the SimpliSafe operator, the alarm was going off. I had them call the police. They were there within minutes. The glass in the back door had been broken AGAIN, but the system worked perfectly and the intruders ran away, We only have to replace a small pane of glass. We have the window decals and the yard signs, but I guess the bad guys didn't believe it.
