Motion detector Triggers an automatic alarm in away mode

I was wondering if there was anyway to have the motion detectors automatically set off the alarm instead of having an entry delay? I was thinking about my mom's ADT system, if you walk pass the motion sensor it automatically sets the system off, which would be great. With that, a burglar doesn't have time to walk out with anything. Is there something I can do now to set it up that way or would you have to do an update?

Currently you can adjust the
Currently you can adjust the entry delay timing for the two modes of the system (home and away) so that the entry delay is very short or no delay when in either of those modes. You can't adjust it for an individual sensor or sensor type at the moment. Thank you for the suggestion, though, we will look into it!

Yes, I agree with c.knight.jr, the motion detector should activate almost instantly when activated in Away Mode (5 seconds is an OK delay). When the bad guy climbs through a window you want the 85dB siren to go off as soon as possible. When can we expect a software upgrade to include this important feature?

You can decrease the entry
You can decrease the entry delays using the Easy Setup Wizard. From the main menu select "adjust settings" and then "advanced options." If you'd like to reduce the delay below 5 seconds, please contact customer service so we can help you with that additional customization.
