Needed Upgrades

New customer and have so far really enjoyed the existing features of SimpliSafe, however a few things are lacking.

1) I want to be able to leave the house but have it remain in "Home" mode in case someone else is still home. For example, I get up to walk dogs but spouse is still asleep, I want to have Home mode still active but not have the motion detectors be triggered.
Is there a way to currently do this? When I have a door open and hit "Home" mode it is not activating, if I activate Home mode there is no delay so I can't then open the door and go outside.

2) Change the "tone" used for sensor activations (ding to dong, etc..).
Some people in our house find the current tone to be obnoxious but still want an alert when a door is opened, it would be great if there were multiple tones to choose from or better yet if we could load custom tones on the unit.

3) Have more than one control panel in a system and enable "Home" mode remotely.
The keychain remotes have no way to set the house to "Home" mode so when I come in the back door and disable the alarm from "Away" mode I would like to not have to go all the way to another floor where the main door is to re-enable Home mode on the system.

Can the new keychain remotes have a button for "Home" mode and is there a way to add a second control panel to an existing system?

4) Disable warning about link to dispatcher?
How can the warnings about no link to dispatch be disabled if we do not pay for the dispatch service?

Thanks for posting! I'll address your suggestions by number below:

1) I want to be able to leave the house but have it remain in "Home" mode in case someone else is still home. For

To arm your system into 'Home' mode when exiting:

*Disarm the system completely
*Open the door by which you're planning to leave
*Arm the system into 'Home' mode. It will warn you of the open door.
*Exit, closing the door behind you. Once closed, that entry sensor will arm

2) Change the "tone" used for sensor activations (ding to dong, etc..).
I'll pass this along to the developers!

3) Have more than one control panel in a system and enable "Home" mode remotely. / Can the new keychain remotes have a button for "Home" mode and is there a way to add a second control panel to an existing system?

The new Base Station will have multiple Keypad support, and the Keychain Remotes will be able to arm into 'Home' mode as well!

4) Disable warning about link to dispatcher?
We can prepare an update to do this for you! Just give us a call at 888 957 4675 anytime Monday - Friday from 9AM to 6PM Eastern and we'll take care of it.

I ORDERED MY SYSTEM, BUT

I ORDERED MY SYSTEM, BUT HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT YET. I HAVE A QUESTION THOUGH ABOUT THE KEY CHAIN REMOTES. HOW CLOSE DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO THE HOUSE TO SET THE ALARM USING THE KEY CHAIN REMOTE? DO YOU HAVE TO BE RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, CAN I BE DOWN THE ROAD, OR HOW FAR AWAY?

Thanks for the post! The keychain can work up to 100 feet away in the open air! Multiple walls can inhibit this distance, and it really depends on the amount of walls the signal is trying to pass through, as well as the materials the walls consist of. The best way to know how far the keychain will work on your particular home, is to test it out!
