Opinion Poll: New Window Decal and Yard Sign Mock-ups

I like both of them. Would the yard sign come with a ground stake, or would we provide our own? Also, what would the yard sign cost?

I love them.. huge improvement over the current ones (although those are also sufficient)

EDIT: Don't forget though that if you do eventually bring in fire monitoring then this will have to change again because right now it only specifies police dispatch rather than emergency dispatch :-?

Like the badge shape but both are good. I said a while ago that you needed a yard sign. Good move!

I am so happy about this. My husband and I were looking at buying alarm signs for the yard from ebay. I would much rather have a sign that reflects the actual system.

The design looks good.

The yard sign and sticker look great! One word of warning, however: some stickers bleach out after a while, so whoever manufactures them should guarantee they will last for a reasonable period of time.

If you feel that yard signs & or decals warning that you have a security system is an additional deterrent, you are correct, BUT !

WARNING !!!
The professional thief learns what system you have when they "Case" your home by seeing your yard signs & or decals. They then research your system and learn how to circumvent it.

DO THIS !!!
Post yard signs & or decals from a different company or make your own.

Example:
You have SimpliSafe, use yard signs & decals from ADT, X10 etc..

I agree with james9861. You don't want thieves knowing what brand of security system you have. Every system has its weaknesses. Giving out any specifics about what you have installed makes you more vulnerable.

The focus of the signs should simply be letting criminals know you have a security system installed, NOT advertising what system it is. You can buy generic home security signs at places like Home Depot or from many websites online.

The Signs Look Great!

Posting window decals and a yard sign is the biggest deterrent to burglars. I owned a Locksmith Business for 15 years and not once did I respond to a burglary that someone "Picked" a lock or bypassed a security system. Most burglaries were from "Kicking" in a door or breaking a window to gain access when there was no system. Post a sign and the burglars will go to the next place without one.

I worked with a company and would recommend a system to the people after I installed deadbolts. I sold my business 5 years ago and I went with SimpliSafe for my own home.

The signs are made of high quality plastic to avoid rusting. They also come equipped with outdoor waterproof 3M command adhesives to put them on a stake. The stake itself isn't included.

I just receiced my system and There were NO door decals in the box ?? Could I get 3 or 4 sent at no charge?? The Yard signs are AWSOME ! Have one at the begining of my 500 ft lane and one at the entery to the house. It's the first thing people talk about when getting here...

Thanks for posting! The two free decals window decals are located on the reverse side of the carboard tray your keychain remote and manual came in, along with extra command strips! If your not able to locate them, give us a call at 1888-957-4675 and we would be happy to help!
