Please add video surveillance!

I would like to add some cameras to my system without having to do a lot of hard wiring. Are you going to add surveillance to your system and time soon?

SimpliSafe will be releasing a wide array of new products and features in the next upcoming months! These new products include sensors for fire/smoke, CO, Flood, High/Low temperature, glass-break, and video surveillance. We decided to release all of these new items at the same time, rather than separately release products so it is taking a little longer than expected to render the highest quality and performance from all the new sensors. SimpliSafe will release all the new products once we are fully confident that they are ready for all situations. We appreciate the patience of all current and potential customers during these final stages of testing.

Also, on my account it has the availability to upgrade to SimpliSafe 2 and talks about the new upcoming features but nothing about video surveillance with the new upgrade. Ryan stated earlier that video surveillance was suppose to come out at the same time with all these new features. Is video going to be delayed longer than the new features? And is Simplisafe 2 going to be compatible with video surveillance when it comes out?

Thanks for posting! The camera systems we will be offering will be for indoor use only and have been delayed until the end of the year. However, the cameras will be compatible with both SimpliSafe1 and SimpliSafe2!
