siren issue

In these couple days, when I arrive home, the security mode is away, I turn it to off, steps are same as what I do daily, but the siren make a short noise as di-di-di for 5 to 10 seconds, that never happened before. can anyone tell me what is it?

Thanks for posting! If your extra siren is emitted a short succession of beeps every time you arm and disarm the system, that is an indication of it's batteries being low. The batteries can be found by sliding the siren off its back plate and removing the six screws that hold in the battery cover. It just takes 4 regular AA batteries!
