Break on Renter's Insurance?

Hello,
After reading all the positive comments about SimpliSafe, I am definitely going to get one. I have a question regarding a price break on my renter's insurance.
I contacted my agent, and she said that I would get a break with this system if it was monitored, and was fire and burglary covered. I can see that SimpliSafe is definitely for burglary purposes, but what about fire coverage? I haven't seen anything on the websites or discussion boards about that.
Please let me know if fire is covered under the SimpliSafe system. That will just be another reason for me to run out and get the system today!

I bought the system for my apartment, and even though it does not monitor fire, I got a discount on my renter's insurance.
SimpliSafe does not
SimpliSafe does not currently provide fire alarm monitoring, but that is under development and slated for release next year. Most people do get a discount on their homeowners or renters insurance for the burglary alarm monitoring.
