I just got word that my home
I just got word that my home owners policy has decreased from $1,050 to $950 per year. A savings of $100, but, that will pay for about 4 months of monitoring! Not sure if fire monitoring will help also when it becomes available.

Update: While all policies are different.. State Farm gave us a $170.00 per year alarm discount. Not bad!
May be more if and when we had the fire protection.

I saved money on my
I saved money on my homeowners insurance! I called my provider Liberty Mutual and advised of my new monitored alarm system and they said my savings would be, $5 per year!! I just got the check in the mail and don't have any idea what I'm going to do with all this cash.
The good news is they will waive my deductible if my alarm is turned on and functioning and I have a loss resulting from a burglary.
