TV shows in Windows

In the new apt. I am going to move into, the living room has two windows...one on the front wall and one on the side wall. The why the apt is designed and utilize space the tv(about to purchase a 50 inch plasma) goes on the wall that is opposite of one window(facing the window) and the other window is on the side of the tv. This will make the tv visible from the windows when the blinds are open(on my days off from work I enjoy opening the blinds and letting the sun in). My apt. will is in the front of the building..faceing the street. I am worried this will invite burglerers. The area seems safe since on the city police web site I see that there have been no robberies in the past 2 years on my street. But I am still worried. With my alarm system and the stickers on the door/windows, will this be enough to deter any burglerers that may spot my tv in the window? Or is there to much risk with this arrangement?

Here's kind of a diagram in ascii:

Well, it doesn't look like

Well, it doesn't look like you have a choice! Based on that diagram, wherever you put the TV it will be visible from the outside. You have to live your life. Having the alarm system and putting up the stickers should help deter a burglar. Keep your blinds closed when you're not there too. In my opinion, you've taken smart and sensible precautions... nothing is guaranteed, but if I were you, I'd just enjoy the TV.

I agree, it's most likely

I agree, it's most likely best to keep the TV on the wall that also has the window with most visibility. Is the right side window (the window not facing the street) a high traffic window as well?
