We are committed to helping people live fully and safely. We want to help you embrace city living while making smart lifestyle decisions and being proactive about safety.

Dear Friends,

We started SimpliSafe because we love living in cities. We want to enjoy all the city has to offer, but we also want to feel complete peace of mind in our urban home.

A few years ago, within a span of just a few months, three of our close friends were victims of burglary. Our friends no longer felt safe in their own apartments. Home should be a safe space that provides comfort and reprieve, and these home invasions had taken that away from them.

We wondered if it weren't possible to take the basic concept of a traditional home security system, but design a product and service specifically geared for apartments. With SimpliSafe, we've done just that. By using entirely wireless components, we've been able to build a complete system that can be self-installed and taken with you to your next apartment. The system also wirelessly connects to a central Emergency Dispatch Center, without a telephone landline.

We are now an organization with a mission. We want to help people live safely in cities. We want to help you embrace the pleasure of city living while helping you to make smart decisions so you can feel comfortable and secure in your home.
