Simplecam night vision

Our simple cam night vision has stopped working. Red light on front of camera is on all of the time. Its been is use about 4 months and worked for several months.

So as I understand it, the night vision seems to be stuck on as opposed to turning off during the day and only turning on at night when it's dark? If that is the case, the setting for that may have been accidentally toggled from auto to on. To check this in the SimpliSafe app you can follow these instructions:

  • Open the SimpliSafe app and log in to your account.
  • Navigate to the Cameras tab in the app and click on the ⚙ Gear icon near the upper right-hand corner.
  • Select the camera for which you'd like to adjust the night vision setting.
  • Tap on Night Vision and make sure that it is set to auto.

If that doesn't solve your issue or if your issue isn't that the night vision isn't toggling automatically, then you may want to reach out to our Support Team at 1-800-297-1605.
