Are Cox Homelife security devices compatible with SimpliSafe?
No. Cox Homelife security devices are not compatible with SimpliSafe® systems. SimpliSafe® uses its own proprietary equipment and platform, so Cox Homelife devices cannot be reused or integrated with a SimpliSafe® setup. Customers would need SimpliSafe-branded equipment to use SimpliSafe® monitoring and features.
Is there a contract?
No. SimpliSafe® offers no long-term contracts or hidden fees.
When and how will I receive my gift card rebate?
You must activate your system within 60 days of purchase, and once you've been an active SimpliSafe® monitoring subscribing customer for 95+ days, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to redeem your Visa Gift Card equal to what you paid for the system (excluding added equipment and taxes). You must confirm your email address by following the link in this email and entering your email address in the confirmation form. Once your email address has been verified, your gift card will be sent from rewards@reward.tremendous.com, our gift card partner.
Where can I use my gift card?
Visa gift cards are accepted digitally at most major retailers. For issues during checkout at a third-party retailer, please consult with the retailer directly. Visa gift cards cannot be used on SimpliSafe.com to purchase equipment or for purchasing monitoring subscriptions.
Visa gift cards can only be used when the total amount of the purchase is equal to or lower than the current gift card balance. For example, if you have a gift card valued at $100 but your order is $125, the purchase would decline. For more information, please see the Tremendous Terms & Conditions.
Can I install SimpliSafe home security myself?
Yes. Your system is designed to work right out of the box. Just plug in your Base Station and follow the interactive instructions in the SimpliSafe App® to place your sensors and set up monitoring. You'll also have access to live support to make sure everything is installed and working properly - all while saving money by doing it yourself.

Customers who purchase the Essentials Kit who need extra help will be offered a reduced professional installation price of $99 for the equipment covered in this package. SimpliSafe partners with OnTech for installation. Additional devices can be added to the installation and priced separately.
Does SimpliSafe® integrate with smart home devices?
Yes. SimpliSafe® integrates with many smart home devices. Integrations require a residential monitoring plan, such as Pro Plus, Pro, Core, or the Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings. SimpliSafe® does not integrate with Apple Home Kit at this time.
