You can start your monitoring plan in just seconds with a quick call or click: all you need is the six-digit serial number located on the bottom of your Base Station. You can find the serial number printed underneath your Base Station.
No Activation Code Needed!
Activating online is simple: just log-in with the email address you used to purchase your SimpliSafe alarm system. Then click "activate" on the right hand side of your online dashboard. If you prefer, you can call us at 1-800-548-9508 and we can activate your alarm monitoring service for you.
Wondering what to do with the activation code we sent you? You probably don’t need it! Your activation code is only necessary if you want to activate your monitoring plan under a different email address than the one you used to purchase your system.
Important: 72-Hour Practice Period
Remember: once you activate your monitoring, you'll have 72 hours to practice with your alarm before police dispatch kicks in. The alarm will function normally as a local alarm, but you will not receive emergency dispatch service during this period. You can trigger alarms, test your system, and get your family used to using it before the dispatch service is fully active.
