Please contact your carrier for more information regarding your plan pricing.
Message Frequency - Message frequency varies based upon the texting services that you opt-in to. Emergency Event and System Alerts are event based and may be sent on a 24x7 basis.
To Receive Emergency Event and System Alerts - When you provide your telephone number and enable corresponding toggles to receive Emergency Event and System Alerts through “Notification Settings” inside of your SimpliSafe mobile app or through “Alerts” inside of your web account on simplisafe.com, you authorize us or those acting on our behalf to send Emergency Event and System Alerts text messages using an automatic telephone dialing system to your mobile telephone number provided to us. This is not required as a condition to conduct business with us.
In some cases, we may send you a welcome message from 825-39 to confirm your telephone number and enrollment. In such an event we will provide specific instructions to validate your number or ask you to validate enrollment by replying with “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 825-39.
When you opt-in inside of your SimpliSafe mobile app, through your SimpliSafe web account, or by texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 825-39, you are also confirming that you are able to receive and review this Texting Policy and are able to print or electronically retain a copy for your records. If you are not the primary account holder for the mobile telephone that you are using to enroll, you confirm that you are authorized to, and do, consent on behalf of the account holder to receive messages.

Changes to Your Telephone Number - You agree that if you sell or transfer your SimpliSafe system or change your phone number, you will immediately unsubscribe yourself and other users you have enrolled from all text message services. This is important so we don't keep sending text messages for a system you no longer own or keep sending text messages to someone who has been reassigned your old telephone number.

If you are enrolled in text message services, we will send an email or a text message to note that the Texting Policy has been amended. Your sole remedy if you do not agree with a revised Texting Policy is to opt-out.
Limitations of Service - SimpliSafe will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any text message or failure of text message from being sent. Text messages may not be delivered to you if your phone is not in range of a transmission site, if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time, or if your phone is otherwise not powered on or having connectivity to a supported cellular carrier. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of SimpliSafe or your wireless carrier may interfere with text message delivery, including your equipment, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. You acknowledge that urgent text messages may not be timely sent or received and that neither SimpliSafe nor your wireless carrier guarantees that such text messages will be delivered or sent.
Right to Terminate - SimpliSafe reserves the right to unilaterally suspend or terminate text message services, in its sole discretion, and without any prior notice.
